Study on the process of electroless copper plating on PP plastics-electroplating production line

  The bath is made of copper sulfate 3G/L, potassium sodium tartrate 25G/L, formaldehyde (36% ~ 40% by mass fraction)10g/L and sodium hydroxide 7G/L, by investigating the effects of plating temperature, ph value and plating time on plating rate, the optimum process parameters were determined, and the coating was prepared under the optimum process conditions, the morphology and composition of the coating were analyzed by SEM and EDS. The results show that the optimum process is 50 ° C bath temperature, PH = 12 and plating time 45-50 min. The coating prepared by this optimum process has bright and uniform appearance, good adhesion with substrate and single copper component.
